A picture of Oak Creek taken from within Slide Rock State Park. Oak Creek, a tributary of the Verde River, flows along the bottom of Oak Creek Canyon, and is one of the few perennial streams in the high desert region of northern Arizona.
After a 24 year career with a large east coast computer company, I retired from the corporate world and in 2003 moved to Phoenix, Arizona with my wife. Fortunately, the Southwest is a mecca of photographic opportunities, so with my camera in tow, my wife and I take every opportunity to take advantage of it. All photography Copyright Fred Larson.
