This picture of a wool shed was taken in the Boyce Thompson Arboretum located southeast of Phoenix.
Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park is Arizona's oldest and largest botanical garden. In the park are desert plants, towering trees, cacti, sheer mountain cliffs, a streamside forest, panoramic vistas, wildlife, a desert lake, a hidden canyon, as well as specialty gardens.
After a 24 year career with a large east coast computer company, I retired from the corporate world and in 2003 moved to Phoenix, Arizona with my wife. Fortunately, the Southwest is a mecca of photographic opportunities, so with my camera in tow, my wife and I take every opportunity to take advantage of it. All photography Copyright Fred Larson.
